This class 125 hex brass bushing is a pipe fitting with male National Piper Taper (NPT) threads on one end and female NPT threads on the other for connecting different types of pipe. The bushing has NPT threading for creating a tighter seal than straight thread and is made from brass, which is more economical, machinable, and offers greater corrosion resistance than steel.
