Much better coupler than the original. But, it is very easy to cross-thread when you install it. You must be careful when you screw it on to the wand, as it is not one you can hand-mount. You must use a wrench, so you must be sure not to cross-thread it. I wrapped the threads with teflon tape to prevent a leak, but it still seeped under pressure until completely tightened. This is a well-built model, and all standard nozzles will fit tightly without leaking. Also, the slide is easy to pull, freeing up the receiver for whatever you choose to plug in to it.
